Wilda Gray

Wilda Jewell Gray, 85, of Hartford, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green. Mrs. Gray was born June 9, 1931 in Ohio County to the late Everett Lee and Audrey Murphy Chapman. She was a homemaker and a member of Concord Baptist Church. Wilda enjoyed quilting and sewing. Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Warren G. Gray on October 30, 2003. Surviving are three sons, Gary Lynn (Peggy) Gray of Hartford, Phillip (Kitty) Gray of Hartford and Danny Warren (Vickie) Gray of Utica, one daughter Melinda "Janie" (Terry) Bowman of Crestwood, KY; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; a brother, Dale (Linda) Chapman of Hartford and a sister, Velma Pearl (John) Coney of Beaver Dam. Funeral services will be held 2 pm Sunday, January 8, 2017 in the Chapel of Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home, in Hartford, KY. Burial will take place in Clear Run Cemetery in Ohio County. The family will welcome friends Saturday from 4 to 7 pm and 9 am to 2 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
