Rebecca "Becky" Jean Arnold, 37, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky passed away Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana. Becky was born in Daviess County, Kentucky on September 8, 1982 to Rita Crump and Wayne VanMeerten. Becky was employed at Over the Rainbow Child Care. She was a member of Oak Grove Church of God. Becky enjoyed taking care of her daughter, Amira, camping, fishing, hiking, and going to church. She loved spending time with all of her family. Along with her parents, Becky is survived by her husband of 18 years, Anthony Arnold; her daughter, Amira Seymour; her sister, Karen Van Meerten; her step-dad, Jason Roberts; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Becky is preceded in death by her grandparents, Agnes Jean and Joseph Dennis Jones; Velma Jean & Richard VanMeerten; and her uncle, Phillip VanMeerten. Services will be 12:00 pm Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at Oak Grove Church of God 10358 KY-505, Cromwell, Kentucky 42333, with Brother Steve Leach officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, and again from 10:00 am until the time of service Wednesday at the church. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. All of those who wish to honor and remember Rebecca in person at the visitation or service are required to wear a mask for the safety of all those in attendance.
