Michael Cockrell

Michael Cockrell, 55, of Hartford, formerly of Morgantown, passed away Thursday, August 1, 2024 in Fordsville.

Mr. Cockrell was born November 24, 1968 to the late James Ray Cockrell Sr. and the late Pauline Allen Renfrow. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother James Ray Cockrell Jr.

He was a 1988 graduate of Butler County High School. He was a jack of all trades and loved working on anything with an engine. He enjoyed fishing and riding moped.

He is survived by his wife Gracie Goodman Cockrell; brother, George Allen Cravens (Mary Ruth); three sisters, Lucy Carden (David), Brenda Rice (Carl), Tami Phelps (Chris); several nieces and nephews.

The family has chosen cremation and a service will be held at a later time.
