Linda Bechtel

Linda Kay Milligan Bechtel, age 74, of Herrin, IL, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2022. She was born on September 9, 1947, in Hartford, Kentucky, the daughter of Estill and Marjorie Turner Milligan. Kay was a member of Hartford Christian Church. She loved her grandchildren endlessly and was the best Nana to them. She was preceded in death by her parents. Left to honor Kay's memory is her husband of 48 years, Jim Bechtel, her brother Dane (Donna) Milligan, her children Carrie Lynn (Tom) Jones and Richard (Kim Sampson) Bechtel, 9 grandchildren, Dominick, Alexia, Cooper, Carly, Cady, Pyper, Baylee, Autumn and Ally; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, September 11, 2022 at Hartford Memorial Funeral Chapel in Hartford. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm and again on Sunday, September 11, 2022 from 1:00 pm until service time on Sunday at the funeral home.
