Larry Crowe

Larry Crowe, 78, of Moneta, VA, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2020 at his home. He was born on July 1, 1942 in Owensboro to the late Joseph Gerald and Ruby Park Crowe. Larry retired from Allied Tech Group as a Director of Contracts. He was a member of Mt. Ivy Christian Church in Moneta Virginia. Larry enjoyed golfing, boating, fishing and watching college football. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and grand dogs, Coco, Tala, Dakota and Teddy. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by several aunts and uncles. Larry is survived by his wife of 55 years, Carolyn Embry Crowe; his children, Dina (Leon) Staskiewicz and Eric (Denise) Crowe; and his grandchildren, Parker Crowe, Kendahl Crowe, and Jenson Crowe. Services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Miller Schapmire Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until the time of the service at the funeral home. All who wish to honor and remember Larry in person at the visitation or funeral is required to wear a mask or face covering while inside the funeral home for the safety of all those in attendance.
