Kathleen Maples Brown

Alma Kathleen Brown, age 95, formerly of Ohio County, passed away on March 25, 2024, in Valparaiso, IN.

Alma was born in Hartford, KY to the late Henry Wright and the late Pearly Wright. Alma married the late Edwin Brown.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a husband, and a son Don Maples.

She owned and operated Kathleen's Beauty Shop until she was 65 years old.

She is survived by her two sons Ronnie Maples of Valparaiso, IN and Larry Maples of Beaver Dam, KY; five grandchildren, Sheri Lynn Payne, Larry Maples Jr., Brian Maples, Tracy Maples and Scott Maples; 2 great grandchildren, Jacie and Preston Payne.

The family will receive friends will be 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Monday, April 1, 2024 at Hartford Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Alma Kathleen Brown will be 100 PM, Monday, April 1, 2024, at Hartford Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Old Bethel Cemetery.
