Jerry Wayne Calloway, 67 of Beaver Dam, passed away Friday, February 15, 2019 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born on October 6, 1951 in Daviess County to the late James William and Golda Watson Calloway. He retired from Cambron Body Shop where he worked as a body repair technician. Jerry loved fishing, hunting, and singing in his country band, but mostly enjoyed his grandkids and great grandkids. Aside from his parents, Jerry is preceded in death by a daughter, Misty Robin Calloway in 2013, brothers, Gene Calloway and Charlie Calloway, and sisters, Ruby Phelps, Mildred Dunning, Mary Blair, and Sharon Willoughby. He is survived by his wife, Glenda Lucille Willoughby Calloway; daughters, Shannon (Dee) Hohimer of Beaver Dam, Dana (James) Johnson of Hartford; grandchildren, Tommie Lynn, Kelsey, Sarah Beth, Maranda Rae, Shelby and Jordan; and great grandchildren Kiera, Tatum, Jasey, Lemmie and Fletcher. Services will be 1:00 pm on Monday, February 18, 2019 in the Chapel of Miller Schapmire Funeral Home. Visitation is from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Sunday, February 17, 2019 and 11:00 am until the time of the funeral service Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Hartford, Kentucky. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donation to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105, or American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Avenue; Dallas, TX 75231-4596.
