Edwin Maden

Edwin Walker Maden, 95, of Hartford, KY, passed away Friday, August 19,2022. He was born in Hartford, KY on August 13, 1927 to the late Earl Franklin and Goldie Burdett Maden. He was a member of Concord Baptist Church. He took his work very seriously as a farmer. When he wasn't harvesting crops he could be found hunting or fishing Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife of 62 years Margaret Cordelia "Peggy" Mills Maden, sister Vera Misback and one great-grandchild Madi Rayne Minard . Walker is survived by his brother Earl Franklin (Sally) Maden, children Eddye Joe (Tabitha) Maden of Kentucky, Patricia (Ed) Maden Minard of Burlington, Iowa and Cheryl (Ronald) Maden McGuffin of Urbana, Illinios. Grandchildren Lauryn Chantal Maden (fiance Andrew Reed), Joseph Colton Maden, Jennifer (Ben) Minard Wilson, E. Christopher (Shayla) Minard, Trisha (Luke) Minard Russell, Andrew (Jenny) Minard, John Minard, Elizabeth (A.J.) Minard Allard, Joshua Minard, Reubin (Amy) McGuffin. Great-grandchildren Cody and Autumn Wilson, Peyton and William Minard, Ava, Ella, Mya, Owen, Henry, Hudson Russell, Lincoln, Griffin, Truly, Ozzie Minard, Lana Minard, Jaymeson and Riley Allard and Ali and Tyler McGuffin and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Monday, August 22, 2022 at The Hartford Memorial Funeral Chapel. Burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Sunday, August 21, 2022 at the funeral home and again Monday, 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
