Dr. Ann C. Price

Dr. Ann C. Price, age 82, of Hartford, passed from this earthly life on May 10, 2024, at Norton Hospital in Louisville.

Ann Carolyn Price was born June 5, 1941, in Madisonville, Kentucky, to Robert E. and Dora Pearl (Allen) Price. She was raised in Hartford and graduated from Hartford High School in 1959 and from the University of Kentucky in 1963. Ann earned her M.D. from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 1967, after which she completed a residency in radiology from Duke University in 1971.

Dr. Price also completed a residency in pediatric radiology and a fellowship in neuroradiology. During her career, she practiced medicine and taught at various medical schools, including the University of Louisville, Vanderbilt University, the University of Virginia and finished her career teaching at Harvard Medical School and practicing medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by her brothers, Dr. Charles L. Price and Dr. Ronald E. Price. She is survived by six nieces and nephews, Pamela Koonce, Sandra Cuzzort, Rhonda Price, Brenda Perigo, Steven Price and Charles Price II.

A private family funeral service for Dr. Price was held on May 18, 2024, at Hartford Funeral Home, with burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Hartford.
