Shirley Mayes

Shirley Mayes, 89, of Hartford, KY, entered into God’s Kingdom on Jan. 27, 2024. Shirley was born Jan. 23, 1935, to Ella and Walter Prindle.

Shirley loved her family, painting, sewing, church, pets, and the country life. She was preceded in death by her husband Virgil Mayes.

She is survived by her children, Debra Tillotson (George), Margaret Payne, Trina Morris (Sam), Steven Butler (Sara), Della Bartley (Fred); 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held for Shirley from 1-2:30 PM, Feb. 10, at Woodward Valley Baptist Church, State Route 136 E. in Livermore. The celebration of life will be 2:30 PM at the church.

The family would like to thank hospice at OHRH.
